Reported that North Miami's council had approved its Chinatown district on a site with about 1,275 Asian residents, that an unofficial Chinatown about thirty blocks away already existed, and quoted the owners of CY Chinese Restaurant on 163rd Street saying that more Chinese customers already went there. The earliest dated press statement the map holds of the corridor's standing as a place.
