Settled in 1881 as Fulford by the Sea, incorporated in 1926 as the Town of Fulford and renamed North Miami Beach on 15 June 1931. The city licenses its own businesses through a Business Tax Receipt Division that issues more than 500 new receipts a year, receipts the county open data layer does not carry, which is why Detection #2 calls its count a floor. The Wikipedia city article states that the artery has been referred to unofficially as Chinatown since the early 1990s by locals and city officials, a reference tier claim recorded as such.
